GUIDE ON HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY

Jewelry Care Guide

Each piece of jewelry is made with longevity in mind. To keep your jewelry as timeless as the day you received it, we recommend reading our jewelry care guide to enjoy it for years to come.

Lemore jewelry is crafted in some of the best workshops in the world, using locally sourced, recycled materials. From design to creation, experienced artisans oversee each step to ensure the best possible quality. Nevertheless, every piece is a delicate treasure that deserves thoughtful care and attention.

GET TO KNOW YOUR JEWELRY

Our sterling silver pieces are rhodium-plated to enhance the metal’s beautiful white shine. Rhodium is a member of the platinum family and offers an extra layer of protection against tarnish. Over time, the rhodium layer may wear off, depending on factors like your skin’s pH levels and how often you wear your jewelry.

Just a quick tip: Avoid using silver dip polishes. While they might offer a quick shine, they can actually damage the surface.

Our 14k gold pieces is made from 58.3% pure gold, and we choose it at Lemore because it’s resistant to tarnishing, damage, and staining—offering the best balance of quality and value. To keep your gold jewelry shining, simply polish it with a soft cloth designed for gold or a soft piece of wash leather.

EVERYDAY CARE TIPS FOR YOUR JEWELRY

To keep your jewelry looking stunning for years to come, here’s some practical advice:

  • Be mindful of where you wear it. Avoid wearing your pieces to the beach, in the pool, or during sports to keep them safe from scratches and damage.
  • Take off your jewelry before bed, showering, or washing your hands to avoid unnecessary wear.
  • Let your jewelry be the finishing touch — apply your perfume, hairspray, and makeup first, then pop on your pieces.
  • Protect your jewelry from impact with hard surfaces. Even diamonds can chip if hit just right!
  • Regularly check for loose stones, clasps, or settings before wearing your jewelry.
  • We recommend having a jeweler check your diamond settings once a year — especially rings.
  • Store your pieces individually to avoid scratching. Keep them in your Lemore box or a soft-lined pouch.

THE KIND OF HOUSEKEEPING YOU WANT TO DO

Keeping your Lemore jewelry sparkling is simple. Just fill a bowl with two cups of warm water and a few drops of detergent-free soap. Let your piece soak for 15 minutes, then gently clean it with a soft baby toothbrush or a cotton swab. Finish by rinsing thoroughly with hot water, and wipe them dry with a soft cloth. Just make sure the stones aren’t loose when you’re brushing! For peace of mind, plan a professional diamond check-up once a year.
